Charting my academic journey

Welcome to my e-portfolio! This site offers a comprehensive look at my academic growth, professional identity, and dedicated fieldwork. Here, you'll discover my core beliefs and the passion that drives my pursuit of knowledge and commitment to equality and inclusiveness.

About me

My name is Kyle Gosline, and this e-portfolio is a reflection of my dedication to learning and professional development. Born in Medford, Oregon, my journey is rooted in a passion for education and a commitment to advocating for others. My goal is to showcase my unique perspective and contributions to clinical mental health and helping those I come into contact with find sustained relief. Currently, I am glad to share that I am working my way through Internship 1 in the clinical mental health program at Grand Canyon University under the supervision of Patricia Evans (LCSW-07069) at the Luxe treatment center located in Las Vegas, Nevada! I am looking forward to growing in this internship opportunity as I gain experience in leading both group and individual sessions while gaining experience from my amazing colleagues on site!

My story

Born and raised in beautiful Medford, OR, I spent my early childhood and teenage years in this area where I formed both personal and professional relationships that I cherish to this day.   After graduating high school in 2010 at North Medford, I then went on to complete my bachelor's degree in human services applied psychology in 2015 at the Oregon Institute of Technology where I also played basketball for 5 years and served as the team "champion of character". During this time, I developed a strong desire to help others with their journey regarding mental health, and am focused on how I can carve out a role to provide affordable, and competent mental health care to everyone that is free from discrimination or financial hardship. I am on schedule to graduate from Grand Canyon University at the end of March, 2027,  where I then plan to take the NCE and work towards full licensure in my home state of Oregon as a LPC.

Reflections and insights

My e-portfolio is more than just a collection of work; it's a space for reflection, continuous learning, and sharing the insights gained throughout my academic and professional experiences at Grand Canyon University.
